Eric Bai founded Alpharithm Investments in March 2024, leveraging over two decades of experience as a senior investment banker. He has held leadership roles at top-tier financial institutions including Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Rothschild, HSBC, and BNP Paribas, across global financial hubs such as London, Paris, and Hong Kong.
Eric was appointed Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in the Class of 2013 and served as the Greater China Head of Financial Institutions. He was later appointed Global Head of Financial Institutions at HSBC. His career has been defined by a strong track record in capital markets and M&A advising global and Chinese financial institutions on strategic transactions.
Eric holds an MBA from the prestigious ESSEC Business School in France and is a CFA Charterholder. Fluent in English, French, and Mandarin, he operates effectively across global markets and complex cross-border environments. Eric played a pivotal role in funding and IPOs for several fintech unicorns which sparked his deep interest in the transformative power of technology. That journey led to the founding of Alpharithm Investments, where Eric is pioneering the development of AI-based investment and trading models aimed at achieving sustained alpha and risk-adjusted performance.
Under Eric's leadership, Alpharithm has grown from an investment-focused initiative into a broader AI powerhouse. The company has expanded its capabilities beyond asset management to deliver AI-driven solutions in recruitment, customer service, accounting, and more—redefining how businesses access and apply high-quality work through automation.
